Food and drink

Living junk free is all about enjoying nutritious foods and drinking plenty of water. As a general rule of thumb, eat plenty of vegetables, fruit, grain foods, lean meats and poultry, legumes and beans, milk, yoghurt and cheese or non-dairy alternatives.

It’s important to limit the amount of foods you eat that contain saturated fat, added salt, added sugars and alcohol for overall health and happiness.

Exercise

Not enough people are offsetting the extra kilojoules they intake from unhealthy food and drink choices with adequate exercise. Regular exercise and a healthy low-sugar diet is one of the keys to health and happiness.

We need to do all we can to ensure this is as easy as possible for everyone, including you.
